One of my tutors many years ago made us move our machines far enough forward onto the table so we could rest our elbows on the table as we sewed - also Val Campbell Harding suggested putting doorstops under the back of the machine to tilt it forward a bit. I have don't have nearly so many aches and pains if I follow those tips. I still find it ha...Your samples are great Maureen. I still find it hard to relax and concentrate at the same time and I've been machining for years. My daughter used to tell me I grunted when I was machining! I still find my shoulders up round my ears if I'm doing something tricky. We will just have to remember to keep good posture and stop for a breather every so often.
