What A Mess!!!

We (that's the Royal 'We') are decorating prior to much needed new carpets being fitted so the bungalow is in a mess as is my craft room altho' I don't have a good reason for that being so , other than works in progress and not tidying up as I go - when Viv has all her cards and I put the paper and card away for a while i'll tidy up (honest). I recently swapped postcards with Angelique in France and here they are, mine to her is the Pansy one and she sent me the lovely vintage lady.

Flowers

The Create4fun challenge is to use flowers on your card, no problem as that means I can get my punches out and away I go, so this is tonights piece, a promarker coloured digi stamp, backed onto Donna's digi backing papers and punched flowers.

Style!

Thought i'd have a change from 'cute' so I made this tag to go into the 'Tag you're It' challenge, they ask for a tag in black and white with a touch of gold - my lady is stamped and her dress paperpieced, she is on a stamped background with a sentiment added, the gold is around the edge and gold embossing powder is added to the fluer de lyse ( is that spelt right??)the ribbon is black and gold.

Bunnies

I have to own up to a life long passion for bunnies - I love them , so when I got the chance to buy these rubber stamps from the 'house mouse' range I went for it, I was a bit bothered when I got them - what do I do with them? - but today I managed a couple of cards for the pink box, hope someone out there likes them enough to buy them.

Cup Cake Girl!

The Creative Card Crew challenge today is to work from a sketch so today I'm in a pink mood colouring my cup cake girl ( rubber stamp) and using Donna's papers all in shades of pink

Card Recipe

I made this 'man card' using a digital image coloured with promarkers and backed on to some Disney papers and added a ribbon, when I checked the challenge list for today I saw that Cards for Men had the recipe of one topper, two papers and three embelishments so I added two gems and hopefully it matches the recipe, I'm sure some men like a little tasteful bling!! Please note the marks that seem to be on the card are from my scanner not the card - honest!

Two more for Christmas

Viv bought me two ~Magnolia christmas stamps for my birthday so ive used them for two cards for the 'Christmas cards all year round' challenge, both are coloured with promarkers and I've added the wooden bench to 'Tilda with presents'. I've decided I like spots and checks for christmas cards this year so I've used Donna's digi backing papers again. Just one to go for the challenge now.

'Thinking of you'

That is the theme for the challenge over at Totallygorjuss and I thought this card I've just finished would fit in well, it is intended for a 'get well card'. I only have a few weeks before I need to hand over my stash of cards to Viv for her charity 'Pink day' at the bowls club so I'm trying to get as many done as possible and there is usually one that will fit in with a weekly challenge. Miss Santa!

Another christmas card made and this one is entered into the Cute Card Thursday Challenge whose theme is 'get a head start' ( for Christmas) and also the Christmas Cards All Year challenge for July (three more to maake for that one?)Miss Santa, as I've called her, is a digi stamp coloured with Promarkers and decorated with 'snowflake flowers'.

Feathered Friends

A short time ago I purchased a 'Feathered Friends' cd as I was really impressed with the art work on it and have made a good few cards, bookmarks and even calenders from it for the 'Pink Day' charity box for Viv. This morning I put together a bookmark card using the cd , it is a different way of crafting but just as enjoyable.

Another Page

OH bought me the summer Sew Somerset for my birthday and just partway thro' it I had to get back to a fabric piece so I made one more page for my fabric book, just one page to go and then the covers, which could be the hardest part.I may add some bits to the pages before I think it is finally finished.

Christmas in July

As I'd bought a new Christmas stamp at the weekend I thought I'd start on my christmas cards so I made this one then found a couple of challenges it would fit into - 'Cards for Men' had christmas as their theme and 'Christmas cards all year round' had anything goes for this month. Well that's one down and...........to go!

Glamour

The theme for the Promarker challenge this week is ' give us a laugh' and I remembered some unused stamps I had tucked away so out they came and this is the result, coloured using promarkers, the main colour being Antique pink for the dressing gown, and with a really fitting text!!!

Ready Steady Stamp challenge 24

This week the Ready Steady Stamp challenge is an Altered Journal/Notebook and from the list of ingredients for this challenge I chose - green brown and cream, dry embossing = the cuttlebug background, use of diistress inks and metal embellishmens = punched leaves.

'Birthday'

A simple theme of 'Birthday' is the theme over at Everybody Art Challenge this week so I used my 'adult' fairy digi image and peach and green promarkers and backing papers for the colour scheme .
