A tidying morning and an atc!

No I haven't tidied my craft room , I tidied my computer or rather all my pictures, they are now nicely tucked away in relevant folders and quite a few were recycled after that I put together this fabric atc, the last one I think.

Fabric ATCs

My 'interactive' computer crafting started a few years ago on the Do Crafts forum with Artists Trading Cards that we swapped between us and often the cards went to the four corners of our crafting world.I don't make atcs now but here in Leicestershire we have a dc reunion every year and of course I need to have some to swap so I've made these in fabric which is the medium I prefer for these tiny cards these days, I have to admit that it is really hard to work in the 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 area after making 6x6 and 8x8 cards. Going back to the dc forum, I made some lovely friends who I'm still in contact with now and I do check up on the forum craft talk on a regular basis just in case I miss something.

Stitching Again

My motivation to work with fabrics has at last returned and I've made a lavender bag using vintage laces and a fabric printed image, I'm now working on a bookmark and both together will be used as a raffle prize at a charity fundraiser i'll be going to in a couple of weeks.

Birthday Treat

My, last minute, birthday treat was a 7 day cruise to the beautiful Norwegian Fiords, (we had been there 40 years before on our Honeymoon) we were so lucky with the weather and with seeing wild reindeer on top of a mountain and pilot whales in one of the fiords, the only little downside was the prices being as high as the mountains - Pro markers £4 each and a cup of coffee anything from £5 onwards and upwards, we have some beautiful photo's to look at now but I'm not going to bore you with more than a couple, one is the reindeer and the other the ship moored in Geiranger Fiord many many feet below us, I've added one more that is a photo of a hairdressing salon with a very strange name!

Flower Power

I just finished this card using a pre printed LOTV image and embellished with rolled and lightly glittered roses, I see that the Tuesday Taggers theme for this week is for 'Flower Power so I'm entering the card into their challenge.

Scenic Stamping

I had a lovely day yesterday stamping with Janet, we had planned on doing some scenic stamping using our Hobby Arts stamps but I diverted slightly and used Janet's new Woodland Scenes stamps, which could loosely be called 'scenic', as they had a lovely rabbit on and a mouse which could be built into theeir own scenes. I thought I'd done 4 images but could only find these three coloured and three just stamped.I must add that as soon as I got home I ordered my own set of the 'Woodland' stamps!!

In the air again

This is another card made using the Fly Past stamps from Hobby Arts with that lovely verse, I just love the black images of the planes which really do look like the Battle of Britain flight - the central Lancaster and the Hurricane and Spitfire on either side.

Christmas Buffet

The last week has seemed really busy with a crafty natter session where we used the melting pot and my monthly scrapbook crop yesterday and all the other day to day things that make the week go so quickly any way I took time out this afternoon to make another xmas card for the Christmas Challenge blog, we had to choose from the buffet list of things to use and I chose patterned paper, ribbon and snowflakes to go with my stamped snowman. Now after a cup of tea I'm determined to play with my Cricut machine!! - I hope!
