Fabric page.

It must be the nights drawing in that makes me want to work more with fabric and stitching, that and surfing some great blogs that have lovely textile pieces on show. This afternoon I have put together another page for my 'oneday' fabric book, I used upholstery fabric as a base, added lace from my stash, a page from a book and the lady was printed off on paper. Are we all the same in forcing ourselves to use that special bit of lace that we've had for ages, well I took it out of its box and nearly put it back but it needed using - well done me!

Yes, well done you..in more ways than one! This is a beautiful piece, lovely muted colours and different textures and, of course, the wonderful lace. It IS always difficult to bring yourself to use a 'special' or 'favourite' bit of lace or fabric, but, if you are keeping this yourself (as you should do) then the lace is going nowhere and you can still enjoy it whenever you wish. And..... do I spy just some teeny-weeny hanging bits?! Yes?
WELL DONE!!!!

Gorgeous Maureen and the lace is to die for.

Amen to that Maureen. It is silly the way we hang on to special bits and never use them. You have got these fabric pages down to a fine art - each one is lovelier than the previous ones. The book will be fantastic.
