We have just arrived home from a couple of days spent in Yorkshire , my Aunt passed away suddenly and totally unexpectedly over the weekend, altho' she had her 91st birthday in June I think because of how she looked and behaved ( certainly not as a 90+ year old) we were guilty of thinking she'd go on forever. All my life I have been so close to her and of course she was the last link to my mother, we will really miss her but have lots of happy memories, my cousin Sandi is coming over from Canada for the funeral and i think between us we will shed a few tears.

Oh Maureen - how sad for you and Sandi, but what a wonderful way for your Aunt to go. She looked so much younger than her years and would probably have hated becoming dependant on anyone. I'll be thinking of you.

Oh Maureen I almost missed this. You must be so sad. I think you can take comfort from the fact that she was very active at her great age and had a long and active life from your account. I'm sure she enjoyed all the times you spent with her.
