Just home from a lovely long weekend in the very wet Cotswolds with Jan and Wendy (links to their blogs in my right sidebar) and our other halves, despite the weather we had a lovely time with a visit to the Artisan stamping show near Warwick and crafty sessions in the caravans. I actually managed to complete a collaged board bag in vintage style, under Jan's tutelage, and we tried out our new stamps and ink brushes( that look very similiar to shaving brushes but with them you can get the brayering effect with out the brayer.) The bottom photo shows my new crafty goodies from the show - just a few.

That was quick!!!
Thank you for your lovely company and the bag looks super-good! xx
How lovely...a blogger/caravan rally! I bet you had a lot of fun.
Sounds like a wonderful weekend Maureen (shame about the weather). Love your collaged board bag - really pretty and vintage.
(I hope you do put an entry in the Art 'n' Soul group as then I might be lucky enough to get yours!)
ooh, bet you had fun despite the weather!! That bag is gorgeous - I have just recently got some shaving brushes, and I see you've bought some of those 'green' paints as well!! I'm hoping to replicate the peeling paint effect I managed just once.
Gosh, that was quick Maureen, a great weekend, thank you for the company and the laughs. Still putting all my craft stuff away. Will take a photo of my bag tomorrow.
Well, the crumby weather obviously didn't prevent you from having a wonderful crafty weekend - love the results. Cheers, Robin
Lovely to meet you Maureen at Artisan. Those brushes look good, hmph, missed those. Annette x
Sounds like a great weekend Maureen, and if the weather had been fine you'd never have finished that lovely board bag. I like the look of your haul of goodies.
