Another blast from the past with this card as I've had a go at parchment craft, I used to do this some years ago and thought I'd give it a go for a change but keep it simple. I realise that the card is just on the edge of the 'Less is More' style but I'm entering it into the
Butterfly LIM challenge anyway.I used a black card as the base for the parchment and stamped 'Birthday wishes' in white on the card, it doesn't show very well on the photo.

Lovely cards as always.
I actually made a card today - a quickie, not very inspiring!
I see we have both been on line at the same time - shame we don't live closer we could share a few craft afternoon together! Connie, xx
Yes, Maureen I do agree it;s not quite clean & simple. Agree is not overly more as it is only one layer plue the card base.
your intricate work is absolutely stunning
I know the other LIMettes will have such a treat to see it
thank you

Stunning card, well done.

Hi Maureen, Stunning card, I love parchment work but lack the patience. I too added a parchment butterfly, but I think ours have been classed as not simple enough!
Hey Ho! on to another craft session. LOL Hope you and yours are well Cazro
Gorgeous card Maureen - it looks like handmade lace.
This is absolutely gorgeous Maureen. Jo x
Ah at last a piece of parchment work, I wondered when I would see some. I used to do this and attended classes with Alison Yeates chairman of the PCG and loved it but had to give it up as it played havoc with the RSI in my arm. So I think your card is lovely. sue x

Beautiful parchment work Maureen - love the butterfly design. It's such a shame that we don't see more of this wonderful craft in blogland.
