I thought i'd enter Ninna's challenge to use the Escalator tangle pattern as instructed and use blue to add colour - Simple- no it may look it but I found it really tough to draw and not so happy with it .
It has worked brilliantly Maureen and would look as great in many other techniques as well. I'm thinking particularly of all my quilter friends who would love it.
I think it looks just fine! Nice coloring and shades. Well, I can tell you I struggled with it a lot too. It isn't as easy as it looks like when you put them all together in the string.

I think its very beautyfull.love the color blue its a bit like lavender.
