This is what I've been trying to upload since sunday - must have had the gremlins as it worked ok today, there is another piece to show but didn't want to push my luck, anyway this is a lavender bag/pillow and it was lovely to work with fabric for a change, I'd hoped to do more today but we had a 2am phone call to tell us that Roy's mum had passed away peacefully in her sleep - one week after her 98th birthday - so all plans were changed, we were beginning to think that she would reach her 100th birthday but it was not to be.

Sorry to hear about your loss....what a wonderful age to get too.....Your Lavender bag is so wonderful and i bet it smell sweet too....its my favourite.
Lovely work Maureen, Lavender bags always make me think of my mum, she loves it! My little sis has moved into a new home with a lavender bush and mum was in her element cutting and drying this year!!
