Calorie Free

Well I'm certainly feeling better now (that sounds like the last words on the Buttercup Syrup advert), probably due to having to give in and get some Antibiotics from the Doc, still got the tickly cough and sore throat tho', most people you speak to have had this horrible virus this year, it certainly has been a bad one. I'm taking a short blogging break while we have our belated Anniversary celebrations so I thought I'd leave you with some calorie free anniversary cakes! ( made hands free in the Cricut)

Free Stamps

I must be feeling better as I'm back in the craft room and making again, altho' the cough is still there. I got these Molly bloom stamps free on a magazine, they're coloured with pro markers and put on to circles cut out on the Cricut machine, this way I can go bigger than with my nestie circles, the check and striped papers I have had years and seem to go on forever. I'm entering this card into the Paper Sundaes challenge which is circles.

Coughs not Crafts

It is a long while since I've felt so poorly with a cold, I think it's the coughing that really knocks you for six, we celebrated our Ruby Wedding anniversary at the weekend with a sunday lunch at a local carvery, I don't think either of us really tasted the meal but I'm sure it was lovely, it's a good job the real celebration will be in a couple of weeks in the form of a cruise. This card I made last week for my Westie owner friend, the Westie I cut with the Cricut and the rest with the cuttlebug and punches, the shabby flower is made using card and dictionary pages, the backing paper is Flocked.

Birds,Bouquets and Buttons

The Art and Soul group challenge this month is to make a tag book made up of four pages and each page must have at least one button on it so out came my lace, fabric scraps and extra firm vilene and my book was born, I printed the pictures onto a linen texture cream card. The photos show the pages before being put together then the back and front of the whole book.

Venice!

I'm persauding myself that I'm ok and not suffering from some flulike lurgy and forcing myself to get a card made, oh happy day!! anyway the card is made and ready to be sent off at last and after a look around the challenges I thought it would go in the Anything Goes challenge on Craft your Passion.
The Venice stamp is from Darkroom Door and the papers are Crafty Individuals ,sent to me by Viv I added a grungy flower made using punched circles that I dampened and screwed up before fixing together with a brad.
