Water - Water......

I took this picture in a little park in Funchal ,Maderia, just over a week ago, this weekend the water wasn't so nice when we went caravanning at Peterborough showground and sunday morning woke up with the caravan in a 'lake' and rising!!!,we had to be towed off the field, us and around 3000 other caravans and motorhomes so our weekend was cut short,(more time for crafting at home).

Back home again from OH's birthday cruise, no crafting to show you just yet as I'm still doing the washing but I'm posting a picture that shows me ( in the bottom left corner) watching the world go by on the ship's Royal Promenade, not a great photo but you get the idea.

Steampunk gondolas.......

Just playing with my digital scrapbooking programme and put together this layout, we took the photo in Venice last october and altho it has no connection with steampunk I think it fits in with the strange embelishiments I've placed around it.

Steampunk Dreams............

That's the name of the stamp plate I used to make this card and I love it!!, that's the stamp plate I mean, it was made as a sample for the shop as I'm a firm believer that making up samples will encourage people to use the products - I think it works.

Flying High..........

I got the chance to play with a new Cricut Cartridge ( Victorian Romance) and cut out this Hot Air Balloon then decided it would be a waste to just put it aside so I made this card, which I have to say I love to bits, the flowers were made using a Marianne die and the sentiment is from a Creative Expressions stamp plate.

Yesterdays workshop was based on using Coredinations cardstock, these are the two cards that were made - it was slightly manic this time as it was the first time I hadn't made up a kit and the ladies had to measure and cut all the card and use the emboassing machines etc - they all seemed to go off home happy with their cards despite me having slipped in a little Steampunk style..
