Dog Tooth.....
This weeks Less is More challenge is to use three squares on your card, so out came the Artistic Stamper 'dog tooth check' stamp for the main square, I punched a small square for the sentiment and for the third I stamped an Inkadinkado spotty flourish as the butterfly's trail, the butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch, I keep thinking that perhaps I should have done faux stitching with a fine liner around the two white squares, to make it show up from the white card, but then I didn't want to spoil it once it was finished. I have given up with the camera pics at the moment and this I scanned, honestly there are no marks on the actual card so that means I MUST CLEAN MY SCANNER PLATE!!

Another fairy card
Just making sure I use up all my stamped images, this is a Lili of the valley image decorated with punched flowers, pine branches punched and cut on the Cricut machine as are the corner pieces, the circles were cut out using nesties.
I'm entering this into the Creative cottage chllenge which is Flowers and the Lili of the Valley challenge which is Circles.
Not too happy with the pics of the cards taken using my new camera, they all seem to have a lilac tinge on the white card - will have to look at the instruction cd.

Spring lambs
The theme for the challenge over at Less is More this week is Spring, I had no spring flower stamps or digi stamps so I got out my Hobby Arts 'Scene It'stamps and used the sheep and lamb stamp on a watercolour background, the sentiment is from a set of Inkylicious stamps.I'm not too happy with the photo of the card, I don't seem able to get a good reproduction on the white cards even with a daylight lamp.

Simple
I've made this card for the Less is More challenge, It is a nice change to make a simple card and the challenge was to do just one layer using a tree or flower, I coloured the rectangle with Antique Linen distress ink, over stamped it with text using the same ink, the flower is stamped in black versafine and glittered with a fine yellow glitter, the sentiment is a Whiff of Joy stamp.

Market Magic.
Our holiday home!
We spent the last 18 days on the 'Independence of the Seas', up to last year this was the largest cruise ship afloat taking 3800 passengers, the two 'indoor' photos show the main promenade in the ship that has shops, cafes and bars along its length, in the third picture I am standing on the glass bridge which is at one end of the promenade.

All over bar the Washing!!
Well just got home today after a lovely 18 day cruise around the med being waited on hand and foot!! we had wonderful weather so are a bit shivery at the moment. I've been thro' my 240 e mails (deleted most of them) and now have to leave the craft room in favour of unpacking and washing etc, it won't be easy but has to be done despite the withdrawal symptoms, altho I did some scrapbooking and jewellry making on the ship. Once I'm more organised I'll post some photo's.
