I am really proud of this years Pumpkin crop, only three but the biggest is already 10 inch across, see photo, so plenty of pumpkin soup for the winter.
I love autumn pumpkin recipes, too. There's a garden center nearby here that's planted a huge pumpkin patch, not only jack o'lantern varieties but ornamentals like French pumpkins, etc. I'll have to make a buying trip.
It looks good! I only tried making pumpkin pie once long ago - not a great success though. So please tell us your soup recipe - we don't grow pumpkins but our trusty supermarket will have them in soon! Connie.

Ohhhh love roasted pumpkin soup....wish I had the room to grow pumkins...alas my veggie patch is too small...this ones looking very promising Maureen!
