More Halloween type pics (well nearly)


I am really proud of this years Pumpkin crop, only three but the biggest is already 10 inch across, see photo, so plenty of pumpkin soup for the winter.

Ohhhh love roasted pumpkin soup....wish I had the room to grow pumkins...alas my veggie patch is too small...this ones looking very promising Maureen!

I love autumn pumpkin recipes, too. There's a garden center nearby here that's planted a huge pumpkin patch, not only jack o'lantern varieties but ornamentals like French pumpkins, etc. I'll have to make a buying trip.

It looks good! I only tried making pumpkin pie once long ago - not a great success though.
So please tell us your soup recipe - we don't grow pumpkins but our trusty supermarket will have them in soon! Connie.
