Perhaps I tried too hard to replicate the original painting, in this challenge for the UK Embelisher group, but I really struggled and feel I can do better - but not with this picture (original shown a few posts back) Anyway it's finished and I'm not thrilled at all.

I Know what you mean Maureen,
thats why i left mine as it was and didn't try to make it the same as the original which is what i started out to do.
I don't think it's bad at all Maureen. There was a lot of detail and small shapes in the original which would be very hard to replicate with embellishing. Don't be so hard on yourself.
I think you are being a bit hard on yourself Maureen, one would presume the picture is for inspiration only and I reckon you have done a great job on this one.
