To stitch or not to stitch.

Some time ago I suggested a challenge idea on a flickr group I belong to and was asked to provide samples to show the other members - the suggestion was for a fabric based atc but as well as a stitched one I was asked for ideas for those who don't do stitching so I made two cards the first stitched and the second put together with glue, staples and brads, I think you can tell which is which.

These are both lovely Maureen and the little scraps of scrim, crochet lace, etc., are set off so well by the checked background.

Hello Maureen,

I found the pic of your truly beautiful Dorset Buttons. I can not believe I missed that post. Oh, Maureen, you can use them in your art as an embellishment, you can use them as buttons on a sweater that you knit and also as a Christmas Decoration on your tree and on and on.

I really enjoyed making the ones I showed on my blog and I hope to create many many more in heaps of different sizes.

Thank you also for the lovely surprise I got in the mail from you. Hugs Judy
