A very wet and foggy week away on the Yorkshire coast, we come back home and THE SUN IS SHINING!!, nevertheless we had a good break and went out and about despite the rain. We called in at Whitby on the way down and found that there had been a Goth weekend, lots of the Goths were still around and in full costume so I managed to get a photo of one group, they all looked so good and charity shops had all made arrangements of their black clothes and jewellry, I hope they had some good sales over the weekend.

Good to read this Maureen, hope this break has really done you good.
More happy crafting now! Connie.
Welcome back Maureen-glad you had a good time.
Yes I did use soluble paper on my books - I like the firm casts it makes. I have tried paper napkins but didn't get that crispness. I expect the tissue varies considerably and you just have to experiment. Glad you all enjoyed your break. Whitby always looks an interesting place - pity it's so far away. I'm getting lazy in my old age!
Ooops! First glance I thought it was you, Aunt Rose and Roy !! Great costumes and isn't Whitby just such a lovely place (when the weather is good!)
I spent a fair bit of time in Whitby at the Folk festival in the 70s. All I can remember is the smell of Fish and chips cooked in dripping. I know its very picturesque but o that horrible smell.
I'm sure its changed now and glad you enjoyed it.
