A white weekend!

It seems that whenever we go up to my Aunt's it snows, and not just a little flutter but HEAVY snow and that's what we have had all weekend, friday we woke to 3 inches of the stuff then saturday we went over the North Yorkshire Moors to Whitby and instead of sun, sea and sand we had sun sea and slush then sunday it just snowed all day long. On the way home today we took these photo's, the first of Roseberry Topping , a lovely landmark in the Cleveland Hills and sometimes known as Yorkshire's Matterhorn, the other photo is a view of the hills rising from a strange mist, very spooky and I just couldn't resist having the last picture of snowy/frosty Cow Parsley.

Beautiful photos Maureen - I love cow parsley in flower or as seed heads and with frost on it, it's even better. We were snowed in last Thursday but it has almost gone now though there is more forecast. With a bit of luck it will miss us this time.

Hope you're settled into that machine embroidery now and I'm looking forward to seeing things! Connie.

Look at Rosebury Topping! Unbelievable! And here we sit with no snow at all!
